Nida is the most beautiful and peaceful place in Lithuania. It is a peninsula washed by the sea and lagoon, separated by deep forests and golden dunes of sand. Nida is a couchette created to remind a person a sense of being there or to create the impression Marcelė Kuliešiūtė feels about the land - calmness and silence. It also represents Ligne Roset aesthetics designer was following - delicacy, elegance and liveliness.

 

‘Nida’ is one of the many textile experimental ideas designer chose from.

Couchette has simple square shaped pine wood frame, that is holding the furniture together. Soft and wavy part is filled with foam and laid with neoprene on top. There are two emotions to choose from - deep blue shades and gentle texture fur. A lot of love for nature and senses designer put into ‘Nida’ is created to make you forget everything around you and relax.
